La enfermedad periodontal involucra procesos patológicos que afectan al periodonto. parafunción de respiración bucal, conduce a cambios en los patrones flujo salival y desequilibrio hídrico, lo resulta afecciones bucodentales. El objetivo este estudio fue, mediante una revisión bibliográfica, analizar resultados varias investigaciones hayan establecido relación entre la bucal. Metodología: se realizó búsqueda selección artículos relacionados con pacientes Los criterios tomados cuenta fueron: bases datos electrónicos, palabras clave cumplir el requisito indispensable tener antigüedad menor 5 años su publicación. Se seleccionaron 33 cumplieron para presente revisión. Resultados conclusión: bucal pueden estar asociadas inflamación sistémica generalizada. Cambios patrón nasal alterar las estructuras anatómicas normales dando lugar desarrollo factores desencadenantes periodontal.
